Embark on an immersive day trip through the Douro Valley and the historic city of Amarante, departing from Porto.
Discover breathtaking landscapes, authentic regional flavors, and unique cultural experiences.
Includes a guided tour of a farm with Port wine tasting, a cruise on the Douro River with tapas, and a cultural exploration of Amarante.
Start with pick-up at your hotel in Porto, drive along the iconic N222 to Peso da Régua, try a pastel pizza, and visit a farm with incredible views, where you will learn about wine production. In Pinhão, enjoy a private cruise with tapas and regional wines.
Continue to Amarante, where you will explore the historic center, the Church of São Gonçalo, and taste the famous São Gonçalo pastry and green wines.
Finish with snacks in a traditional bag before returning to Porto around 3:30 p.m.

Itinerary
Arrive in the town of Peso da Régua and try a traditional cake, Portugal’s famous sandwich cake. Explore the footbridge overlooking the Douro River, a perfect spot for photos.
Port wine tasting at the Quinta with a tour and wine tasting.
Pass through the center of Pinhão (Railway Station). Boat trip on the Douro River (1 hour) in a small group, only with customers from our company, providing an intimate experience. Tapas brunch on board the boat with regional delicacies such as smoked fish, traditional meatballs, and other local delicacies, accompanied by Douro wines.
Guided walking tour through the historic center of Amarante to explore its rich history, architecture, and charming streets. Tasting of Doce de São Gonçalo in Amarante to learn about the tradition of local sweets.
Tasting of regional smoked meats and new wine in a traditional tavern in the historic area of Amarante.
